Walkway Installation

A welcoming path and better curb appeal.

Walkway Installation Built Right

A walkway is one of the first things visitors notice, and one of the most-used surfaces on your property. We build walkways that look intentional from the curb and stay safe and stable underfoot through every season.

Like our patios, every walkway starts with a properly prepared base so stones and pavers don't shift, settle, or become a trip hazard over time.

Our Process

  1. 1

    Layout & Grade

We lay out the path, set a gentle slope for drainage, and excavate to the right depth for base and surface.

  2. 2

    Base & Bedding

A compacted aggregate base and screeded bedding layer give the surface a stable, even foundation.

  3. 3

    Lay & Finish

Stones or pavers are set tight with consistent joints, compacted, and locked with joint sand so the path stays solid.

Walkway Installation — Common Questions

Can you connect a new walkway to my existing steps and porch?

Yes. We tie walkway elevations into existing steps and landings so transitions are smooth and there's no trip edge.

What material works best for a front walkway?

Natural flagstone gives a premium, irregular look; pavers offer a clean, uniform surface. Both hold up well when the base is done correctly.
